During the lockdown, I often recalled what happened to my life in the last 6 months. Apart from work, I also had lots amazing life experience involved key words such as Zumba, Podcast, Musical, Dining etc., They were all fun and exciting which they were, but what you didn't know behind is I was in a self- battle every day. It took tremendous strength and courage to make every new attempt in putting myself out there for the unknown outcome, potential setback, and rejection. On the flip side, I also gained fun, joy, and a sense of fulfillment in return.
In today’s girl talk, I strongly resonated with those girls’ self-growth journey, particularly Living in pandemic uncertainty. We shared tips in going through lockdown, for instance, be grateful for our health, be open to others, stay connected, focus on achieving our goal, be self-affirmation to every small progress we made, etc., However, those emotions: anxiety, fear and a moment of overwhelming also exist all the time. Unfortunately, there is not a 'one size fits in all' solution or a ultimate cure to unravel life’s emotional ups and downs, but as WanJia shared with us: Every situation in life is temporary, so when life is good, make sure you enjoy it and received it fully. When life is not so good, remember it will not last forever and a better day is one the way.
I am so glad to hear Wanjia is finally embarking on her life-pursuit journey with a determination to becoming a professional Zumba instructor; Ailsa stepped out of her comfort zone to embrace professional and personal challenges. Each story from my guests becomes a precious encounter to me. I truly treasure each encounter in my daily life because that all built into my life-design journey.
